Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies


烤盤上的尚未烤, 我用silpat放烤盤上, 這樣餅乾都不會黏住


今早烤的Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies的食譜是報紙看到的, 我將原版登在這, 我自己有稍加做一點點改變, cookies很好吃, Tom今天在家上班, 現已拿了好幾塊在吃,配咖啡更好.

1 1/2 Cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup(2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Mix together flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Beat together butter and both sugars at medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. At low speed, beat in flour mixture until blended. Fold in oats and chocolate chips Cover with plastic wrap; chill for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 baking sheets. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Flatten each cookie slightly.

Bake cookies until lightly browned around edges. 10-12 minutes. Transfer cookies to racks to cool completly.

You can make dough ahead and freeze it. Later use defrosted dough to make homemade cookies in minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.


我將材料增加雙倍, 將黃沙糖和白糖都減少一些, 因我不喜歡太甜, 另外我加一杯半的碎核桃, 我沒有roll oats所以我加普通的老人牌麥片, 我每粒做的蠻大的, 我烤20分鐘, 很好吃又很容易做有空試試看.
