薑餅


今早難得爬起來看Michael上校車, 兩眼簡直是睜不開, 昨晚幫Ben打了一頂新毛帽, 急性子的我不想等隔天才完成, 所以犧牲睡眠將它打完, 顏色是Ben選的, 灰色配黑色線條, 滿好看的, 睡覺時已1點多了.

Michael上學去後, 本想馬上去睡回籠覺, 但Tom問我今年烤不烤聖誕餅乾? 我說不烤, 他很失望的低下頭說要等Crystal回來叫Crystal烤, 我想想Tom好可憐喔, 那麼想吃餅乾, 好吧就烤些給他解饞吧, 因要烤餅我只得犧牲睡眠了.

我今天選烤薑餅, 因Tom愛吃, 配上蘋果汁更好, 在此分享薑餅的做法:

6 TBSP butter, softened
2/3 C+ 3 TBSP Sugar(set 3 TBSP sugar aside)
1/4 C Molasses
1 large egg
2 C all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground ginger(若要薑味重一點可多加一些)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground mace

Place butter in a large bowl, beat with mixer until fluffy, gradually add 2/3 C sugar, beat until light and well blended, add molasses and egg beat well.




Add flour and rest of the ingredients, stire until well blended. wrap dough in plastic wrap and freeze 30 mins.




Heat oven to 350 degree, make 26 1" ball, roll ball in remain 3 TBSP sugar, 用手掌稍為壓扁再用叉子在上面壓出條痕, bake in oven for 12-15 mins.
